It's moved since that was written -- it's now up in the top right of the whole page.

And it's no longer a one-click "search this board". It requires me to enter the name of the board, location or zip.

And trying it now with Burger as the search term and my home zip code, it returns 9,962 results from all over the country. How is this supposed to work?

If you're on a board, and search discussions, it should default to the name of the board, so it should be a one-click search this board. Where are you searching from?

At the top of each message board or from the message threads when I tried last night and through the time that I posted the issue, the box did not default to the name of the board. It does so now. Thanks for the fix.

Now, ChowHQ, there are many issues with the Restaurants & Bars feature reported on this board that have not been acknowledged or addresses. Could you please give us an update?

I came to this thread because I, too, was having trouble finding search-this-board (I don't actually search the site very often). I didn't see it (and, judging by the many queries, neither do others) because in its present location, the two search fields, at upper right, look for all the world like log-on fields. My eye's trained not to go way up there. If I want to search a board, the natural inclination is to look around the board name atop the board....like right near where "save this board" is (and where search, smartly, used to be).

I'm not sure how many people tend to look at the corporate tip-top header portion to do specific stuff related to a specific part of the site. It's nearly as counterintuitive as sticking board search down with the CBS links to US OPEN and PGA CHAMPIONSHIP.
