in jp, i'd try fiore or blue turtle - canto 6, which is the best bakery in jp imo may or may not make them to order, but it's worth asking.

I did an exhaustive search on this topic for an event about two years ago and by far the best, both in taste and price, were at Party Favors in Brookline. You have to order them specially, but they were delicious. Too many that I tried, including the ones at Formaggio, tasted as though they frosted in wax.

cafe vanille on charles street has a nice selcetion. they are baked off site in duxbury tho' formaggio sometimes carries them in their chocolate counter.
