Knife-Skills Class

Another question: Can anyone recommend a knife-skills class? I know there are many in the Bay Area, but I'd particularly like to find one that teaches how to sharpen knives with a whetstone.

      Previous post about knife sharpening only.
      "Jeff at Bernal Cutlery does indeed offer classes for 2 or 3 people - I think it's 30 to 40 bucks."

        Well, here are some youtube vids to get you started

        http://www.youtube.com/user/Chefknivestogo#p/u/12/TwfW_PXWBJs (this is the first of like 20 vids

        )

        You do not have to pay for a class... just buy some waterstones of varying grit and start sharpening. You can learn easily. It is not a hard task. Have fun!
