RI - Party Pizza/Calzones

I typically go to Calvitto's for party pizza, spinach pies, etc for small family parties. I wanted to try somewhere different. Has anyone tried Catanzaro's in N Providence? Or any other recommendations?

I would suggest Buono's on Hartford Ave in Prov. I live on the Cape now and never thought I'd miss plain old strips. And guess what I don't so much, it's more the good Italian bread only Buono's makes. Sooo goood.

Jeannett's on Branch in Providence does great calzones. I believe they also do party pizza.

You mean there's an active business in that storefront?? I've driven by there nearly daily for almost 3 years and thought it was vacant... Talk about a storefront flying under the radar...

Can you just walk in? How is their non-party pizza?

Jeanette's is a humble treasure. Take a nap after lunch.

It is a real RI classic. Nothing in the cases, open until they run out, no menu available unless you ask. But their calzones are AMAZING. The woman behind me in line advised calling ahead before you stop to make sure they hold what they have for you. We had broccoli/cheese and chicken parm. Cheese with broccoli was fresh mozz and chicken parm was fresh, one of the best I've had. Worth the idiosyncratic business model!

Down here in Westerly, we go over the border to CT for The Pizza Lady...
