ideas for our smoker

Hey All - we will be using our smoker again this weekend and I am looking for some ideas as to what to do. Obviously ribs is on the list.
Share some ideas - type of meat, rubs, sauces, herbs/spices, etc....

  1. Clearly you're planning ahead, and thus much more organized than me, but one of the things we've discovered is that if you're short on time, haddock is delicious when smoked and doesn't take long at all. We ate it with aioli and french bread, it made a great meal.

    1. My go to dish on the smoker is brisket. Nice rub on there, smoke it for a 12ish hours, and serve it with a sauce and homemade bread. Nothing better:

      1. Since you are smoking, and if you have room, add some jerky to whatever else you are smoking. Kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak. Just sayin" ...........

        1. Dh spatchcocks a chicken, coats it with a spicy rub and smokes it for a few hours. de-lish!
