Halal restaurants
Though not Muslim, I enjoy Hakka and other Halal cusines. I found this list that may be useful to some. It contains about 800 Halal restaurants, the first 300 or so being in the Toronto Area.

Djerba-La-Douce serves Tunisian food and is on Danforth just east of Greenwood. It is also Halal, and the food is completely different from most other restaurants. I attended a Chowmeet there last week and you can find a write-up by Davud here:
