Manhattan BYOB Favorites

Some friends and I are putting together a list of BYO restaurants in Manhattan and I'd love to know your favorites. We plan on getting a group together and trying a new restaurant each week. We live in the East Village, so a lot of the usual suspects like Milon, Panna II and Cherin Sushi we've already been to. Hopefully this will be helpful to others as well.

Please list your favorites- It's greatly appreciated!

Cherin Sushi

If you do a search here on CH you'll find lots of threads on this.

Also, are you only talking about restaurants which allow BYO but do not charge corkage, or are you also interested in restaurants which allow BYO and charge a corkage fee?

          Sorry not to specify.

I have done a lot of searching on here, but thought an updated list would be helpful as many small places close or get their licenses.

Also, I was talking more specifically ones with no corkage fee.
          Thank you!

I remember a fairly recent and conclusive thread about this topic. Highly doubt much has changed in past six months or so. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I love Nook - 9th ave and 50th. Super small, great food, reasonable prices, and the host/waitor is incredibly thoughtful and really takes care of you. You'll need a reservation.
