informal place to eat near Columbus Circle

Can anyone recommend an informal, inexpensive eatery close to Columbus Circle? Ninth Ave. would be OK.

Bouchon Bakery in the Time Warner Center. Not dirt cheap, but high quality casual food at moderate prices. And very informal, since you're eating in a mall. The website coyly does not mention prices, but I recall the sandwiches being $10ish.
