Pickings are slim at National Harbor. Your best bet is to take a ferry to Alexandria - would you be up for that? There are several good places on King St. What is your budget?

If you want the best available in that area, that would be Restaurant Eve, but I doubt you could get a reservation with such short notice. People like the Majestic. I have only been once, for Nana's Sunday Dinner, which I don't recommend, but I believe their regular menu is available on Sunday as well. Vermilion also gets good comments (I haven't been).
Hopefully other more Alexandria-savvy hounds will chime in!

It would be the ferry to Old Town, and then a short cab ride, but Bastille is one of my favorite restaurants in Alexandria. Not so sure if it fits the bill for a business dinner, but worth looking into.
Closer to the ferry is Columbia Firehouse, which may be more suitable for you needs.

Overwood is closer to the waterfront than Majestic or Vermillion, both of which are excellent. I can no longer recommend Columbia Firehouse after I ordered the house-made halfsmoke and was given a plain old bratwurst.
