TULSA -- $13 three-course lunches this week only

It's Restaurant Week 2010, and you can get 3 course lunches for $13 at places where normally $13 won't get you a glass of bottled water. At French Hen, the entrees include red snapper a la meuniere or steak with tomato truffle butter. Michael Fusco's Riverside Grill has lobster bisque, chicken Alfredo and bread pudding. Best of all, at Bodean Seafood, you can get mussels in broth or escargots and follow it up with salmon in a rich champagne cream sauce, or with trout Almondine. For a list of all restaurants, with menus, go to http://www.tulsapeople.com/Tulsa-Peop... In 2010, it's this week only, but the offer probably will be repeated in future years.

  1. Just got back from Bodeans $12.95 lunch - Had the moules marinieres starter with about 20 mussels - excellent. Followed by a huge trout almondine with vegetables and wold rice - chocolate mousse for dessert. Brought half back in a doggy bag - excellent quality and stupendous value. On Wednesday had the lunch at French Hen - also very good but Bodean's effort is truly stellar. Still time for lunch today or tomorrow.
