I like all kinds of vegetables. Was thinking black beans and sweet potatoes, or lentils or pho.
Just curious to hear whatever you like to eat to get back in balance after overdoing it.
Like Laura, I'm thinking greens (kale, romaine, chard, spinach) will clean you up faster than starchy beans/legumes...also lots of tea, watermelon for dessert perhaps.
There's a great vegetarian tortilla soup recipe on Epi that is full of flavor and vegetables.
There's a green smoothie thread someplace on here -- that's usually my "cure" for overindulgence. Big spinach salad? Black-bean-stuffed acorn squash?
Big bowl of Rasam-rice :)
Borscht or minestrone!
I think the best way is to just eat normally -- i.e., what you normally would eat if you did not "overindulge".
