Pied De Cochon booked for 2010?
PDC's website says they're booked for the 2010 season... I'm heading up to Montreal in October for my bachelor party in October and was hoping to grab a table for a Friday night. Do I have any options? Does the place typically get booked this far in advance?
Just had an amazing meal at APDC this Saturday, for which the husband had to reserve 2 weeks in advance. So there should be availabilities, but make sure to call ahead of time as we only had 2 seating options, either at 5pm or 9pm.
It was well worth it! We left so full we could barely walk back to the car!
Agreed - this is in regards to Cabane au Sucre.
I would definitely aim to call ASAP, once you know how many will be dining with you. However, in reserving so far in advance, make sure to call back nearer to the day of your trip to confirm that the reservation still exists. Although I love PDC, on 3 consecutive occasions I arrived at my reserved time to find that they didn't have my reservation at all. Fortunately I think they are used to this and found space, but that could be trickier on a busy night with a large group.
I'm guessing you clicked on the link for their Sugar Shack (http://cabaneasucreaupieddecochon.com...), which is not the same animal as the restaurant on Duluth. There, you should be able to book a table if you call anytime from now to up to two weeks prior to the date of your party. I don't know how many people are in your group, but given you want a Friday, I would call sooner rather than later.
