I found Rasa Sayang in London's Chinatown decent and authentic tasting, but do note that there is a minimum charge of -if I'm not wrong- £5 pp. Not too bad, considering it works out to be a dish per person but something to take note of nonetheless.

Satay House on Sale Place is extremely popular with the Bruneian Royals, and the last time I was there the food was pretty good. Although I did cry bitterly inside when I saw the meager portion of satay served, but that's the case with all London restaurants. The satay, while good, which, lacked the nutty charry crusty "bits."

Also, I've heard good things about Kiasu, but I've never been there myself.

Try some of the Penang Nyona dishes and the Nyona kueh at Sedap (Old Street). Haven't had fish head curry in London yet, but vaguely remember seeing something like it at Kopi Tiam as zedman_1 has pointed out.

Also try the nasi lemak at Eatzone in Kentish town.

Kopi Tiam on Charing Cross Road is generally very good and great value although their Thai dishes disappoint. I seem to remember they have a fish head bee hoon on their menu but not sure about fish head curry.
