Iron Chef America Sous Chefs

Have any of the Iron Chef America Sous chefs gone on to Top Chef? I thought I recognized maybe Richard or Ed from Top Chef.

You are correct. I know that Ed was working for Cat Cora (sp?), and Richard Blaize working for I can't remember who. I also recall seeing Eli from season 6, though again, I can't recall who he was working with.

I think Eli was working with Richard when he was a contestant on ICA.

Both Ed from the current Top Chef and Richard Blaise were Cat Cora's sous chefs on a recent ICA battle. Richard has been on several times with Cat.

I was under the impression that Richard got the ICA gig after (or possibly because of) his showing on Top Chef.

Actually, he was on ICA in season three as Mario Batali's opponent before he appeared on Top Chef.

And Eli was his sous.

It's interesting to watch the show and see if some of the names are familiar.
