quiet lounge-y atmosphere with full bar-hillcrest/north park?

usually hang out at small bar or toronado but tonight going with group of friends and we'd like to actually sit down, enjoy our drinks and have a conversation. any ideas for a quiet lounge type place with a full bar (not wine only)?
