Ottawa recommendations for mid-priced Mediterranean restos (Albert & Bay area) ?
Hi all, I'm a regular on the BC board.
My wife is in downtown Ottawa for business until the end of September. She's staying near the Rue Albert/Bay St area. She loves ContinentalMediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisines. If you have any recommendations for restos within easy walking distance to that locale that would be great. Price range would best be in the $15-25 bracket w/o drinks. Thanks very much !

I work in the area and, unfortunately, there's not a lot. For mid-price, a good bet is Aroma Meze (Greek). Lovely place. Walk down Bay Street and right onto Nepean. It's on Nepean just east of Lyon. About 10 minutes from Albert/Bay.
For higher price, Beckta is wonderful!!!! One of the best restaurants in the city. It's almost right across the street from Aroma Meze.
