Breakfast places near The London...

Can somebody suggest a couple of yummy and quick breakfast places near The London hotel {which is at 151 W. 54th Street}? Price isn't an issue, since how expensive can breakfast really be? On second though, don't answer that.

Thanks!

You're in an expensive part of town with lots of business via tourism so breakfast can actually get quite expensive...when you say yummy and quick, do you mean something takeout/counter style or a sit down experience? The former will hopefully be less expensive.

Bouchon Bakery at the Time Warner Center, 59th and 8th: go to the takeout section not the sit down restaurant
Petrossian Bakery, 58th and 7th they have a sit down restaurant too
Le Pain Quotidian: if you're OK with a chain, there's a few around there, I think 58th and 7th

If you're willing to walk a little further there's also La Bergamote (52nd and 10th) and Sullivan Street Bakery (47th between 10th and 11th) and Amy's Bread (9th and 47th), all are well known local bakeries.

Thank you Judka and Kathryn. We are usually more of a bagel and coffee/Coke family, but it's nice to have a good place for eggs close by as well. We'll be there the week of Christmas, so in order to get a jump on the crowds, we'll probably be out early, so grab and go will suit us the best I think.
