Any must try restaurants in the Clinton/Guilford CT area?
My husband and I will be visiting this area in October for a wedding anniversary party. We've never been to this part of the country before but love food! Any suggestions?

I cannot agree with Foe and Assagio, which I found superbly mediocre. I do agree wholeheartedly with Taste of China.Try their Chengdu cold noodles and their Belgian beer.

The New Haven Register reported this past weekend that Cafe Grounded is closing. What a shame.....

Savvy Tea is a great place for tea but a terrible place for an actual meal.

In the summer you want the clam shacks: Lenny and Joe's in Madison, Johnny Ad's in Old Saybrook, The Place in Guilford.
In autumn and winter try Darbar's (surprisingly good Indian food) in Branford, Siam Orchid in Branford, Marco's white pizza in Branford, and Taste of China in Clinton. To be honest I haven't eaten much in Guilford, but I found Cilantro's kind of expensive.
