Near Intercontinental Hotel, where to have dinner

  • 4

We are staying Saturday night at the Intercontinental, going to 9:30 p.m. Jerry Seinfeld show at the Wang *Citi Center". Need to find dinner in between. We plan to leave the car at the hotel so I don't want to spent the night taking cabs. What's good within walking distance of the Intercontinental or on the other end the Wang? I am not that familiar with those areas of Boston. Looking forward to your recommendations. No Chinese, please.

  1. Pigalle, Troquet, Via Matta or Teatro. All within a short walking distance to Citi Center.

    Teatro
177 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02111

    Pigalle
75 Charles Street South, Boston, MA 02116

    Troquet
140 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116

    Via Matta
79 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116

    1. Sel de la Terre, about a block away from the hotel.

      1. Here are some other high-end options near the Wang or along the way: Erbaluce (upscale italian: a few blocks past the Wang; http://www.erbaluce-boston.com ), o ya (fantastic sushi/japanese; http://www.oyarestaurantboston.com ), Market by Jean Georges (perhaps below average for JG, but it's still great; http://www.marketbyjgboston.com ), Radius (great burger at the bar; http://www.radiusrestaurant.com ). If you are wearing comfortable shoes and like great cocktails, consider walking past your hotel to Drink in Fort Point for a cocktail after the show (http://drinkfortpoint.com ). If you would like less high-end options, those are also available, but between the hotel and the show, I'm guessing that money isn't a big issue.
