Supermarket-wise, Longo's carries a few, usually an oddball assortment. Brampton's DT market is OK but really only worth a visit if you're in the area. The Sat morning Milton market has a couple of vendors selling them, along with rarities like poblano and serrano peppers. Frankly, though, I think they're overrated and over-priced. The best ones are grown outdoors like old school field tomatoes and, as such, are exposed the same forces that murder backyard vegetable gardens. That means unpredictable yield and profit for farmers who prefer more productive hothouse varieties. Though not heirlooms, the field tomatoes at Highland Farms on Hurontario have been good this year and very inexpensive(BTW,HF carries way more local produce than Loblaws). Left to ripen for 2-3 days at room temp, they've been killer for only $4 a basket.
