Where to buy blood oranges?

There are also a handful of vendors at the Santa Monica farmers' market selling them right now. They're still not quite in season, so not many, but still there.

Every single farmers' market in the region has blood oranges and probably will for the rest of the month. Going rate in Irvine is about $2 a pound, other fancier markets will probably charge a l'il more.

You can get blood oranges for $2/lb at the Pershing Square farmers' market in downtown LA as well. The market is on Wednesdays.

Bought some blood oranges last night at Jon's Market in Westminster, got 3 pounds for $1. Not always as pretty as the ones you'll find at the farmers' market, but the juice still makes for a nice cocktail

Got a bag at Superking, on the LA/Glendale border, Saturday, for a little more per pound than Igotnothin paid, but way less than d_doubleyew

I think it's a little early just yet, but in season, even Ralph's carries them. They're pretty much everywhere once they're around.

They'll be back in a couple of months. You can buy the juice in tetrapaks in places like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, though, if what you need is the juice.

Mother's Markets in OC carry a really delicious glass bottled blood orange juice in their produce department.
