Looking for great paella....

Going to NYC next week and we're looking for agtrat Paella; a few people have recommended this place.. What are your thoughts and any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated..

We like the Paella @ El Pote on 2nd Ave Midtown. Never been disappointed by the food or service.

Socarrat is fantastic. You can do a search on this board and reviews will pop up. But, you must get there early as it only seats about 12 and they don't take reservations. They recently opened a "wine bar" next door which (i THINK) serves paella, but Im not positive. I have not been since they expanded.

I was very disappointed with the paella at Socarrat. There was no soccarat, among other issues.

Yeah, I have heard that a few times from different people, but never had a problem any time I have been there (3 or 4 times so far).

I've also had univerally great experiences, but I haven't been since they expanded.
