Ironman state street route - Madison, Wi

Coming in on Sunday to cheer on friend in ironman. Thinking of stationing ourselves along state street for marathon portion. Is there a really good restaurant for lunch ( with glass of wine) to pop into?

I think JanPrimus meant what city/state. I know you mean in Madison, but non-Wisconsinites might not know where State Street is...

I'm not super familiar with State Stret, but it tends to be more aimed to the college crowd. Noodles/Qdoba/Ians Pizza type places. State Street Brats is the other old standby. With the football game in Madison this weekend too, anywhere you go downtown is going to be pretty busy...

That place looks fabulous-is it relatively new? As a one-time resident of Madrid, I'm always disappointed by the lack of good quality tapas places in Wisconsin. I may have to make a trip to try it out next time I'm in Madison.

Not sure of the open date, but I only learned of it last winter.

We were going to stop in before a Christmas Party at Overture, but it was packed!

Friends have said...friends with impeccable taste...that it is a "DO!"....Dear Wife and I have just not created the opportunity to stop in again.
