Upbeat lively dinner prior to concert at Rams Head Live
I will be surprising my wife with tickets to a show at Ram's Head Live and am looking for a place to go to dinner beforehand. The show starts at 10, but doors open at 8 so I might want to get there around 9ish to secure a decent spot.
We'll be coming south down 83 so the dinner would have to be on the way somewhere. So far my ideas are either Joe Squared (she loved their pizza the one time we've been there) or Brewer's Art (I heard they have great food and I like the option of either eating upstairs or at the bar... Plus Resurrection is amazing...). I'm not sure how large our group will be, but I don't anticipate it being any larger than 10 people.
Any recommendations other than those two? Thanks!

It's pretty lively at Ra sushi. Plus you could walk to Ram's Head from there.

Hmm, yeah that is an option. We'll be dressed in 80s garb (it's an 80s concert) so I'm not sure how that would go over. We do like RA but the scene there gets kind of annoying quickly. If we weren't going to be dressed like psychos we'd definitely go to Pazo, but unfortunately I don't think that's an option.

I actually like your original ideas.
There's also the totally awesome Isabella's in Little Italy. They don't have alcohol, but you could check to see if you could BYOB.Their food is great, and it's also within easy walking distance.

I checked and you can BYOB for no corkage, but they ask that you bring any stemware, corkscrews or whatever.

Do they have additional seating I'm not aware of? I'm a huge fan of Isabella's, but from what I can tell they don't even have 10 seats in the house.

You can't go wrong with the food at Brewer's Art but it's a really popular place and a group of 10 might be difficult to get in.
