LOBSTER SHACK IN HYANNIS THAT OPENS 11AM ON SUNDAY?

Spending this weekend in Hyannis at the Anchor Inn. Dinner is always at Seafood Sam's, Alberto's or Wimpy's. We must be on the road early Sunday, back to NJ. Anyone know where we can get lobster rolls at 11am, or 11;30 Sunday. Gotta be close to the hotel. I'm tired of the fast food options on Rt 95 in Conn. I'm packing a small cooler! Also, any dinner suggestions are appreciated as long as fried clams are on the menu. I thank you.

Spanky's Clam Shack across the street from your hotel opens at 11 Am on Sunday. Not great, but the food won't kill ya and should fit the bill.

Don't know why my original post was deleted by the uber-sensitive mods here, but what-ev, it's a reasonable rec.

Thanks, CCguy. I checked the menu online, and it will do. I'll let you know.

Thanks again, CCGuy. But we did hit the road early Sunday in order to spend some time in Federal Hill (Providence). Brought home some great bracciole, sausage and pasta. However, had fantastic fried clams and lobster roll on Saturday at the Fish Shack just before the Sagamore Bridge. Dinner that night at Alfonso's in Hyannis was really good.

Thanks for the reply back. Which shack...the one between the two bridges across from the herring run?

Also, I assume you meant Alberto's. It's one of the best on Cape and certainly a fave.

I thought it was called the 'Fish Shack' just before the bridge. We had to risk life and limb to turn across two lanes of oncoming traffic. And it was Alberto's. But get this. Took the in-laws to dinner,so we got an early reservation at 6:30. The deal is the entree now includes soup or sald, dessert and coffee. Salad was full size, and the desserts were also full size, and NOT a few days old. Very impressive. Left 20% tip. Well-run operation.
