73292 Mon Sep 12 18:12:36 -0700 2005 4 2 Los Angeles Area 0 401909 I love Mashti Malone's ice cream (especially the creamy rosewater... oh my GOD) but I hated having to schlep over to La Brea and fight the traffic, etc. Mashti Malone's has opened a branch in Glendale at the Glendale Exchange in the 100 block of North Brand. It's directly across from Maurizio's and next to Zono Sushi. Prices are the same as in L.A., and it's the same wonderful stuff. The only complaint I had is that the pomegranate sorbet had clearly been left out and refrozen -- lots of hard ice chunks in it. Also I bought a pint from a persian store and the texture was sooo bad and tasted nothing like the one you eat at the store. They should get their act together.
