Better Sports Bar Food Downtown?? Big Wangs or Dublin's or ???

We are celebrating a friend's birthday on Saturday and expect to watch the UCLA/USC/etc. games....... we were thinking Big Wangs or Dublin's but have not been to either..... we like burgers, wings, solid sports bar food. Any recommendations on what we should do? in LA Live and etc.

FYI- We are not fans of the Yard House.... horrible wings, and not so great burgers....

Beware of just getting downtown if you are not going to the USC vs. Virginia game, as traffic could be lethal, and parking nearly so.
Now if you live there, well, many more options than those two.
Anything at LA Live might be better.

Sorry, have not been to either. But if you're going for sports, why not the worldwide leader? I've actually never eaten the food at ESPNZone either.

First, the food at ESPNZone is so overpriced. Second, the food is very average at best.

I've had great fun at Capitol City in Hollywood. Very clean and slick with a lot of TVs and a huge projection TV in one of the rooms. I like their back patio which has it's own bar area. The food is hit and miss for us. The wings have been awesome everytime but the other stuff like burgers, sandwiches, nachos have been hit and miss (burnt, undercooked, etc.) They are always packed for game days so call for reservations.

Oops, I didn't read the DOWNTOWN part. Sorry. I go with Dublins. I rather do the bamboo shoots under the nails bit that go to Big Wangs but if you like crappy food and horrendous service in a smelly frathouse setting, by all means go to Wangs.

I didn't know Big Wangs had a downtown LA location, thought they were only in North Hollywood.
