For Littleman in Hilton Head, this list is for you!

Besides EMP (which apparently has fiddles a bit with its format and I have not tried it since the change), here are some of my other current favorties in our ever changing restaurant scene in NYC. These are Manhattan only, not in any order, all different price points and food types, just typing as they come to mind. Love Marea, Aldea, Il Buco, and I still love the original Nobu downtown, but for sushi, I am a Susho Yasuda fan. Beacon has been around for a long time but I think it is very comfortable, the food is outstanding and they make a fabulous cocktail. Aquagrill for their oysters and fish, and on a less costly note, Ed's Lobster Bar. Pylos for Greek food is exemplary and the people are lovely. I like Landmarc downtown and at Time Warner. Five Points is one of my local favorites, that's my neighborhood and the food never disappoints, same goes for Indochine, which has been around for 25 years and still going strong. Hope this helps you next time you're in town.

  1. Thanks Susan. You mention some great places. I need to find more places to go. I keep going back to the same old ones like Daniel, Gramercy Tavern, Gotham Bar and Grill, Cafe Boulud, et al. I will try some of your recommendations. Good luck to you. Come back to HHI again soon.
