Great sandwiches, salads, soups, veggie friendly, Manchester , Nh?

i am looking for recs for a great sandwich place in the vicinity of ELM ST Manchester Nh, or NOT in the vicinity of ELM ST. Although not a vegetarian, i would like some veggie options as well, if possible. I will be taking someone out for lunch on Sat, ergo the rec request> It doesnt have to be fancy just some good eats..thanks..ethnic is good as well..

      Great options at Republic but also Richard's Bistro (just off Elm) does some very nice soup, salad, sandwhich and mini entree specials everyday. If you stay with their $5 lunch menu - doesn't need to get out of hand either.

        Bridge Street Cafe might work. I like their soups, not over salted like they are at many lunch joints.

          thanks for the 3 responses, i dont know where the other one is lurking, all of a sudden this decision of where we are going to eat is out of my hands, but i hope its one of the places that have been recommended! OOOps i see the other rec, thanks to all for taking the time..
