Ramos Gin Fizz in the DC/Baltimore area?

bitsubeats Sep 7, 2010 07:16 PM

Apparently every time I ask someone for a ramos gin fizz I get really bizarre looks. You'd think if I was going to some frou frou place they would actually know what it is? Especially if they have orange flower water at the bar.....

So I need to know is there anywhere in either city or the surrounding area that actually knows how to make this cocktail? It's important, because the only two renditions of it that I have had AND were actually tasty were in Boston and Philly and both are too far away. (:

Thanks in advance

I've definitely had one at one of the Armstrong's places in Alexandria; probably PX, but possibly Majestic.

The last time I had a Ramos Gin Fizz was at the now closed Inox. It was fantastic and I can see your quest for one. Try The Passenger / Columbia Room or The Gibson.

Agree with the Gibson, or the bar at Bourbon Steak.
