Texan beers and breakfast tacos in LA?

I recently moved back to LA after having lived in Austin, Texas for three years and I miss a lot of things about Texas. The two biggies are breakfast tacos and beer. I can't for the life of me find a decent breakfast taco anywhere in Los Angeles. Suggestions of good breakfast taco places in LA? Any breakfast burritos don't count!!!

Second, on the beer front, I can't seem to find Lonestar Beer anywhere in town. I would also enjoy finding some other great Texas beers like (512) Brewery, Real Ale, Independence Ale or Live Oak, but I haven't been able to find ANY of them in LA. Can anyone shed any light on whether there is a bar that serves these beers? Thanks.

The only place I've been able to find them here is the OP Cafe on Ocean Park in SaMo. It's odd to me that more places don't do them since there are so many former Austin residents that would love to have them, but there you go:

As for the beers, LA currently has a bunch of places with excellent selections of craft beers, but I'm not familiar with the ones you mention.

That place looks decent, but 8 bucks for two breakfast tacos is bloody murder! There has to be a place where they're only a buck or two each. I think I would faint if I had to pay that much for tacos.

Here's an older thread, but it doesn't really help:

        Hopefully someone else knows!

Where have you been to for beers out here?

Breakfast tacos can be had at Tacos Por Favor on Olympic Blvd. in Santa Monica.

Add: I take it back. I thought I had breakfast tacos here, but I checked and I didn't. Now I just have to recall where I did have them? In any case, breakfast burritos are so much better than tacos. Just for containing the filling alone the burrito wins by a TKO.

Lonestar Beer is along the lines of PBR and Old Style beer. They do not sell Old Style here in LA and I'm guessing, since PBR produces Lonestar, they aren't going to sell Lonestar in LA.

To me, the classic Texas beer is Shiner Bock. Certainly the recipe was altered for the Texas climate. Gotta have Shiner Bock in any serious Texas beer collection.
