Hamden Restaurant Week Sept. 20-26, 2010
My hometown, Hamden, is holding its first restaurant week Sept. 20-26 (Mon.-Sun.). Details can be found at http://www.hamdenrestaurantweek.com . After literally decades of having just a couple of noteworthy dining destinations worth even bothering about (and lots of chains), in the past few years we seem to have reached a "critical mass" that gets us out of the shadow of New Haven, just a little, and may encourage even more quality establishments to move in.
Prices are mostly prix fixe, $12 for a 3-course lunch & $20 for a 3-course dinner (a couple of places are buy 1, get 1 of equal-or-lesser value free).
