ISO in San Diego

Has anyone seen fresh pomegranates around town yet? I know it's a bit early in the season for them here, but I need them for a batch of Chiles en Nogada

I'm also looking for canned Queen Anne cherries. I've found pitted sweet, Bing, pitted tart and various types of canned cherry pie filling but no Queen Anne cherries.

TIA

Did you ever find a place for pomegranates? I'm thinking about making chiles en nogada on Thursday.

Yes, I did. The Ralph's on Friar's Rd by Hazard Center. In the produce department with the "exotic" fruits

You might want to check specialty produce, it says on their website they were last sold yesterday. Good chance they will have them in stock, I'd call first.

I have a vague memory of seeing them last weekend at North Park Produce. You might give them a call, though, as my memory has been known to fail me.
