Ancho Chili Powder

Wondering if anyone knows where to find this, preferably on the west side of Vancouver.

  1. You could try the spice place (The Grainry) in Granville Island market. I bought some from there awhile back. You could call them to make sure they currently have it in stock before you go. Here is their number. (604) 681-6426

Also, you could try Whole Foods on W8th. I'm not sure if they have it. I bought a bunch of bulk spices before from the Whole Foods at Park Royal but I wasn't specifically looking for ancho chili powder that time.

They do have it at Whole Foods W8th, in the ethnic foods aisle.

    2. I've seen it at South China Seas (is that what its called?? - anyway, the Asian food place that now has quite a few Latin American pepper products) on Granville Island.
