Menu for next June.

Next June I'm doing a classy little party for a friend in honor of her coming nuptials. It's summery and all vegetarian.

I already have the menu planned out:

Course 1:

Savory Watermelon, Mint and Feta salad.

Mango Basil Summer rolls and Plum dipping sauce

Various tea sandwhiches/Cheeses/or walnut feta dip with pita chips

To drink:

Alcoholic: Mojito Parisian punch

nonalcoholic: Pomegranate lime Rickey

Dessert:

Raspberry Champagne sorbet with possible white chocolate sauce (optional)

Chocolate mouse with Rose cream. (Rose water flavored whipped cream, also optional)

Tell me what you think of the menu!

It would help to know how many people you were serving. Also, is there a main course? Just curious.

Yay, it sounds Summery and pretty and maybe needs a little refining. You're doing a fruit salad with cheese, so a feta and walnut dip is a little repetitive, as are the cheeses. A good roasted eggplant dip with lemon might be nice instead; pretty served in baby endive leaves. Also, you might want to consider doing a savory spring roll instead of a sweet one. i guess that's my major criticism here; it all sounds waaaaaaay too sweet from beginning to end. You can certainly stay vegetarian and import some different and more interesting profiles to this menu. I'm trying to be constructive, not harsh, so please take it in the spirit intended.
