      CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REPORT BACK ON THE FOOD! THE ONE IN DARIEN IS THE BEST. THE OTHERS ARE/WERE HORRIBLE. PLEASE REPORT ASAP! THANKS!

        WE TRIED IT LAST NIGHT. SORRY TO REPORT BACK THAT UNLIKE DARIEN, THE PLACE WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY, THE FOOD WAS SOOO BLAND, THE RICE STUCK TOGETHER LIKE OVER-COOKED HARD ROCK BALLS AND THE TEXTURES WERE JUST NOT THERE. i
        WOULD NEVER GO BACK. I'M NOT SURE THEY WILL MAKE IT. ONLY THE NAAN WAS GOOD. (BIG DEAL, RIGHT?)

      great news! are they open yet? Hopefully they will stick around for a while - has not been a very successful location for others.

        Not even close...I've was coming off exit 19 the other day and saw 2 guys scratching their heads while looking at 3 ladders...strange spot for Coromandel...

          That place is a terrible location. It's really a strange spot for Coromandel considering their other locations. I'll be happy because this will be close to home but I can't see business hopping there. And seriously them and Thali have way too many locations....you guys aren't Mario Batali yet

            Looks like the end of Oct..IMO these guys do a great job of keeping their consistency high across all their locations.

              Except the Coromandel in Stamford that used to be called Dakshin...it's not so good, even after the name change.

                I'm not questioning the ability of the restaurant owners, it's just a really bad location...for anything...

                  Well, when it was the Lemon Tree Lounge, we kept the place afloat with Sunday beer and Bloody Mary money. But that does seem a strange location for a regular restaurant; I wish them luck.

                    It is a less than ideal location however I assume the rent is cheap so they will be able to deliver great food at reasonable prices.These guys are shrewd,if there is an economic downturn they will survive-not so sure about the rest of the restaurants in downtown Fairfield.
