Looking for Amazing Thai near Edison / Metuchen, NJ
Can anyone recommend a good thai restaurant near Metuchen, Nj. I've tried Radhana , Sawadee (before it became an Irish Pub), and Thai Basil, as well as fusion resturants like Penang and Meemah. For Thai food, Radhana has been the best by far, but I'd like to find another option that is equally good or better. I live in Metuchen which is near Edison NJ.
I would appreciate if you have any recommendations of good Thai restaurants that are up to 15 - 20 minutes from Metuchen, NJ?

Radhana is good but last time I went there, their portion sizes seemed to have gotten smaller. Recently I've been going to Thai Thai (formerly Amarin) next to ShopRite on Old Post Road in Edison.

Ate at Thai Basil last month. Nothing special at all. Third try in a couple of years and it's off the list. I've dined at Mie Thai a number of times and it's pretty good. Nice room etc.
My 'go to' remains Four Seasons. Simple, great food. Though I will try the one up in Clark if I'm in the area.

Head North a few exits on the GSP and try Thailand Restaurant in Clark. Excellent Thai in a converted diner car. BYO.

Second both Pad Thai and Four Seasons mentioned here by other posters. They are owned by the same people but different and both quite good and will provide any amount of heat that you request.

re: albinoni
Somebody should write a review, "Four Seasons Thai Cuisine and Oriental Grocery" isn't coming up in the autocomplete feature.

Haven't been to Radhana for years. It used to be a favorite for a quick lunch.
I suggest you drive over to Woodbridge and try Mie Thai. It used to be very good - and hopefully still is - but because Rhadana was closer we would go there more often.
