ISO: On the Strip, Fun, Trendy, Moderately Priced (>$75pp) Dinner
Traveling to Vegas for two nights only, and Friday night will be our night out for dinner (the other night we're going to a concert and will probably just grab a quick light bite somewhere convenient to the venue - not too worried about Saturday). We'd like to stay on the Strip and are looking for a fun place that isn't too pricey. Everything I've been looking at is pretty expensive...we'd like to keep it around $75 per person. We are not picky eaters - open to pretty much anything except perhaps Asian- just looking for a fun, lively atmosphere (not too stuffy), a place where we can go dressed up in nice jeans ready for a night out afterwards, and of course...good food.
Right now I am looking at Dos Caminos and maybe Nobhill? I'd welcome any recommendations. Thanks!

Oh yikes...but now I am looking at Raku, which I know is neither on the strip nor "not Asian" - but it sure does look interesting! Any recs would be greatly appreciated.

re: miss piggy
If the not-Asian restriction is lifted, then Raku would fit all of your other specifications, except possibly for the "trendy" part. It is a "hot" restaurant, especially among folks in the restaurant industry, and it is perfectly pleasant inside, but it doesn't have the "wow" factor like Tao or Alize. But it's lots of fun to share small plates, and the service is so informal yet gracious. And the food is excellent.
