SANTA MONICA - fun, birthday dinner

hey guys. I am looking for a resturant in santa monica/ venice area that is fun, not too fancy, good food, for a small group of girls to celebrate a 24th birthday.
Any recomendations would be awesome... thanks in advance!

    Not in Santa Monica, but nearby:

    Waterloo & City is a lively Gastropub with afforadable and great selection of wine and beer and GREAT affordable smaller size dishes, but good for sharing. Everyone I have sent there is very happy.

      I would suggest you look at Fig, Fraiche, Gjelina, Musha, Rustic Canyon and Wilshire. Wilshire and Gjelina have patio dining if that might appeal.
