  1. as an OBX local for over 25 years, I've eaten at all of the avove restaurants and wouldn't highly recommend ANY of them.

Jolly Roger does a decent breakfast, but the dinner is strictly run of the milland heavy on the Italian. The bar can be fun with a crowd.

    Awfuls--eat raw bar only,

Port o' call--you couldn't pay me to eat there. Honestly had the worst meal I've ever eaten there.
Again, a good bar for the late night crowd.

    Red Drum--meh

    Miller's--tourist trap. Good breakfast though

Mako Mikes--hit or miss, but would eat here over any of your other restos.

Stick with the recommendations of Kill Devil Grill, Lucky 12 Tavern, Owen's, John's Drive In, The Blue Point, Roadside, Metropolis Little Bistro and I've recently discovered Asian Bistro in Kitty Hawk for sushi and tasty Asian food.

I've not been to any of the places you list. The best meal we had on our trip to the Outer Banks this year was at Basnight's Lone Cedar. Great clams and fish. Best beer selection of any place we went.
