Posting Photographs

Please let me know how to post photographs on chowhound?

    Click the gray bar directly below the text box that says "attach photo," and then upload a photo from your computer. The file size is limited to 10 megabytes. Here's a picture of a scary-looking carrot that I grew. If you click on the picture, it will enlarge.

      I haven't tested this enough, but is each photo size limited to10 megabytes or is that the limit for all photos in a post ... can I post 6 2mg photos which would be 12 mg total.

      At any rate, the larger the size the the photo the longer it will take to load. Some info I gleaned from a few months back.

      The optimal resolution for photos on chowhound is 72 dpi. Try to save your photos no bigger than 400K and choose 520 w by 390h as the max dimension for optimal results
