Perilla, malatesta, po, little owl or la sirene for dinner?
if you had to choose 1 (Maybe 2) on food alone which would it be and why?

I've only been to Perilla and Malatesta and I would put the former way above the latter. Perilla has innovative, exceptional food, and I find Malatesta just OK.

I've dined at Perilla, malatesta, little owl, and la sirene.
I would rank La Sirene as my top pick.

I've been to Perilla, Po, and Little Owl. Out of those three, I'd say that the first two would be my choice.

ive been to perilla, malatesta, po and la sirene
my pick is po- malatesta is great for a casual meal but the food cannot be compared to the rest. la sirene is hearty and delicious french food, but nothing innovate in my opinion. the food at perilla is great- very refine and i highly recommend it, but i do enjoy po more. po is really rustic and comforting while still being refined...maybe its the service and environment i love so much?
my top picks of the 4 where ive dined- po (#1) and perilla (#2)

balances neighborhood spot and destination spot very well...food is excellent...comfortable and cool yet also a place for nice occasions as well.

Just went to Perilla a couple of nights ago. The service was very attentive and well orchestrated, however the food was somewhat less than great. The orchiette app was very tastey and was probably the best dish we had... the agnolotti was quite the miss...not very flavourful and not quite fresh tasting. The Branzino was quite average, and somewhat oversalted. The wines by the glass are quite decent - good Calinfornia Pinot and decent Sangiovese. The chocolate molten center dessert was better than average.
