I'm taking my cousin and his GF out for dinner tonight. I'm looking for something unpretentious, fun, but also noteworthy. (best of all worlds).

- They're from Vancouver so Japanese, Korean, and Chinese are off the table.
- They're 23, so even though I'd love to take them to a completely boring, quiet, and respectable place I think they might enjoy something more lively.
- Location should be downtown, preferably walking distance from Queen/Richmond.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  1. Origin at King and Church!

They might also enjoy Terroni on Adelaide.

    1. Queen and Richmond are parallel streets. Where on Queen St. and what is your price range?

        Correct you are.

10-15 minute walk from University and Queen either direction.

$20/pp. I did look up Origin but seeing as though it's Thursday and I have concerns about price point I looked no further. Definitely another time. Thx.

I think Terroni fits the bill quite nicely in this situation. Just be aware that they do not accept any substitutions on their menu.

Its at 57 Adelaide Street East

      2. Terroni on Adelaide E in the old Courthouse (patio out back in garden).

South of Temperance on Adelaide W (great patio, no idea about food)

Harlem has a cute patio and soul food/Cajun menu at Richmond east of Church.

        South of Temperance
20 Adelaide St W, Toronto, ON M5H, CA

South of Temperance food has not been well reviewed.
