Pernod (anise liquor)/Apple Brandy availability in Charlotte

I'm planning a dinner party and was wondering if Pernod can be found in the Charlotte area?

I'm also looking for Le trou Normand, Calvados or Applejack.

Frugals definitely has both. The calvados selection isn't Zachy's but the have 5 or 6 to choose from.

I have seen pernod at frugal before best bet is to call or email them. They respond quickly to email

Your best bet will be Frugal MacDougal right outside Carowinds, just off 77. I have seen Calvados and Applejack at my local ABC. If anybody knows where you can get Carriage House Apple Brandy, I'd love to find some. It's made up in Lenior and I've been combing places around Charlotte for it.

Carriage House is sold at ABC stores here in Western NC but could be at a store near you . Good quality and is great with apple juice for a " chill " drink . Hope your quest is successful . Slainte !

One of the few good things about the Meck ABC is the product search on their website. Not only tells you if they carry a certain liquor, you can find out which stores have it in stock. As of this morning, Carriage House Apple Brandy is avaiable at the 3rd St, 51, Ballantyne, Colony, Statesville Rd., and Cotswold stores.

First, glad someone agrees with me about the liquor stores and suckage. Second, thank you for the info. Now I have to figure out which is closest. Not that a voyage to the ABC is ever a bad thing.
