Catering for a Conference
Hoping the 'Hounds can help me.
I have just been tasked with finding a Caterer for our work conference in October. Looking for someone that can provide all food for breakfast, lunch and breaks over two days. Location is just on Front Street so at least it is downtown.
I have checked all of the typical (Daniel et Daniel, Marigold and Onions) but would like to see what else is out there. Are there any other suggestions that anyone can make for a reasonably priced but attentive caterers?

Thought I would post an update on this one. Ended up going with 10tations. In a word, incredible! For reasons outside of our control there were a number of complications with our site. Despite calling her with all kinds of little problems, my planner Rebecca was calm and always thought 10 steps ahead!
The conference included breakfast, lunch and two breaks per day over two days. First off, there was never any issues with either quantity OR quality! Everyone was thrilled with the food, I think the phrase "best food I ever had at a conference " was used more than once. The service staff were incredibly professional and helpful. Cost was reasonable given the sheer quality. Essentially they made me look great, which is really all one can hope for from a caterer. :)
So in the end an all round success!

re: Otonabee
Hi Otonabee
Funny I just read your original post today and was going to recommend 10tation. I use a bunch of caterers in Toronto (depends on location) but whenever given the choice I ALWAYS chose 10tation. My clients have always been happy with their quality, pricing and quantity. They also work with my budgets which I like.
Glad you also had much success with them!

re: petek
second. although I've only experienced them at one event, at a private house party, Yorkshire Pudding was memorable -- good food and nice friendly staff.
