ISO: Hungarian Paprika

A friend of mine is looking to make authentic Hungarian, and would like to find Hungarian Paprika.

Any ideas?

The recommendation to shop at Loblaws or Superstore is spot on. The brand is Szeged, and it comes in a little red tin; this is the real stuff:

Thanks everyone. My friend was thrilled with everyone's input.

The bulk food store in the basement of STLM has about 10 different kinds of Hungarian Paprika. Most I've ever seen in one place.

If you're in the basement of the SLM, you're far better off going to Everyday Gourmet for your spices and (god forbid) dried herbs. Smaller selection, but much fresher.

It is high end, but we bought some at Mcewan's on the weekend, I think it was $6.00

Sweet or hot is widely available at Loblaws, Highland Farms, even some Bulk Barns carry both.

Look no further than Loblaws. I have been buying both sweet and hot Hungarian paprika in pretty tins there for years. They carry the same brand that I see in my Eastern European (mostly Polish) shops around Windsor. I am sure you can find them in the spice aisle, alongside the various spice blends that also come in tins.
