Delirium Tremens beer in New Jersey or PA

Does anyone know where I can get Delirium Tremens beer in New Jersey or PA?

  1. I have definitely seen it at Linwood Wines in Fort Lee and Home Liquors in Hackensack. I don't know if that is too far east for you, but at least you know it's available in NJ.

Thanks so much. Linwood Wines does carry it! But its a hike.. as soon as some stores near me open I will make a few calls. But good to know I have a fall back! Getting it for a friend and need it by Friday....

Yeah, not only a hike, but you could get caught up in th bridge traffic.

There is a site called Beer Advocate that had a feature called Beerfly- it lists stores, bars, etc by town along with feedback- you could check there also to get some ideas closer to where you live, and phone numbers.

    2. the store next to the A&P in east brunswick off rt 18 has it. marketplace wines?

Catherine Lombardi/Stage Left in New Brunswick serves it I know...

      1. Although I haven't been there myself, I've heard that Maloney's Pub in Matawan has Delerium.

        1. Is it really that rare? My purchasing Belgian beers comes and goes in cycles, so I haven't really paid attention to that section of most good beer stores lately, but it used to be relatively common.

In NJ it's distributed statewide by Regal Wines which also distributes a number of other well-known and relatively easy to find beer brands like Eggenberg (so, Samichlaus( and other Wetten Imports brands and domestic crafts like Southern Tier, Moylan, Green Flash, etc. Seems to me if those beers on the shelves at your local store, they can also order Delirium Tremens.

I've never dealt directly with Regal from the consumer's point- some wholesalers are helpful in directing you to one of their retailer customers for certain beers, others are decidedly "non-consumer friendly". Never hurts to send an email or try a phone call- you get lucky sometimes.

It's not that rare; I can find it pretty easily in most liquor stores locally. Nocturnum is slightly more hard to come by.

          2. I've honestly seen DT in almost every liquor store I go to and they aren't all mega stores either.
