Best Baa farm MAY have sheep's milk at their stand in the north market on Saturday's, but this time of year it's pretty likely that they are using every drop they can get their hands on to make their own cheese.

If you go close to the opening hours you can usually get fresh sheep's milk ricotta from Monforte Dairy's stands at various farmer's markets around the city. I know it's not making your own but it may be the closest you'll get.

I am pretty sure that I've seen it for sale at Fresh From The Farm before. They do rotate their stock availability frequently though, so it may be worth your while to call ahead first.

I'm pretty sure I saw it at The Big Carrot. Might pay to call first, tho'.

I only said that Best Baa at the SLFM had the best selection, not that it's the only place. Here. Have a whole raft of locations:

Thanks for the list! There are a number of vendors with a 10 minute walk of me so hopefully one has the sheep's milk. In the interim I used half goat's milk and half cow's milk for the ricotta and it turned out well.

There is no information in the above posts about fresh sheep's milk.
The ewes lactate in the spring of each year, and the excess milk has to be frozen.
Fresh sheep's milk will be available next year.
