Brussel's chocolate

My wife has set aside a hefty amount of Euros for her chocolate adventure in Belgium, and would like your advice on where to get the best in Brussels and Bruges. Any suggestions? I am saving all my Euros for beer. "Mmmmmm, beer..."

In Bruges, go for The Chocolate Line. Their chocolates are being served in Belgium's best restaurants and you'll discover why. Chocolate line is awesome! I also agree on Marcolini. Great stuff, and don't forget to taste his chunks of chocolate, perfect!

For tasting or bringing back? Either way, it looks like you'll have to head to the Sablon to visit Wittamer and Pierre Marcolini. For bars of chocolate, avoid the places in the Grand Place and instead head to a supermarket where you can buy Cote D'Or and Galler among others.

I'm sure there are others here with better suggestions (try a search if you can) because I'm just not one for chocolate, really.
