Any upscale BYOB restaurants??

We're celebrating my grandparents' anniversary - about 20 people. In order to get the dinner moved from NJ to NY (which I would love to do) I have to find a nice place where you can bring your own wine! But my family still wants a nice, somewhat upscale place. Does that exist? Thanks.

Do you need a private room? If so, that may be tough.

Union Square Cafe has $10 corkage, and is pretty good with a crowd as it's plenty good enough for foodies but non-threatening.

A great many restaurants allow BYO for a fee

how about la sirene? delicious and very hearty french near tribeca- the restaurant is tiny though, youd have to talk to them about the large party. but it is byob with no corkage

There are many, but there is a corkage fee. In other words you are welcome to bring your own wine, but you have to pay a per-bottle fee in order to do it.

technically per se is BYOB...I think corkage fee is 100+ though

Do you mean that you want to bring your own wine and NOT pay any corkage fee? That is not likely at most "upscale" restaurants.
